Hotel Zuerichberg, Zurich

The Hotel Zuerichberg is a 4-star business- and leisure hotel with 66 rooms in a quiet location on the "Zuerichberg" - Hill. The hotel is situated at the edge of the woods surrounded by forests and meadows, and with beautiful views over the city, Lake Zurich and the Swiss Alps. The railway station and the major attractions of Zuerich can easily be reached within less than 20 minutes by direct tram (No. 6). The hotel's old building is classified as a historic monument, and combined with the modern and trendy new building makes up an architectural jewel. The facilities at the Hotel Zuerichberg include the Restaurant "R21" with a large terrace for light and creative cuisine with a French influence and the Gourmet Bar "B21" for small delicacies throughout the day or to enjoy an aperitif and relax in the evenings. Other amenities include five conference and banquet rooms, a wonderful garden and underground parking.

Description of Double Standard Room: (“Design” Room with forest view)
The rooms at the Hotel Zuerichberg are new or have been recently renovated. All rooms include modern furniture and some have a balcony with a view of the forest. The bathroom has a bathtub including a shower and a hair-dryer. All rooms are equipped with Cable-TV, radio, direct telephone, Internet connection (modem & wireless LAN), mini-bar and safe. The rooms at the Hotel Zuerichberg feature 2 twin-size beds (separated or pushed together) or a queen-size bed. Smoking / non-smoking rooms are available on request.

Description of all other Rooms:
Single Standard: smaller room for one person with 1 twin-size bed; bathroom with a shower only; without coffee machine.

Double Superior: “Design” Room with lake-view

Double Executive: Exceptional “Espace” designer room with great views of Lake Zurich; additional amenities such as 42 inch flat-screen or "B&O" Design TV, DVD player and stereo, and a “Nespresso” coffee machine.

The Hotel Zuerichberg is situated in a quiet location at the edge of the forest and meadows above Zuerich with beautiful views over the city, Lake Zuerich and the Central Swiss Alps. Although surrounded by nature, the Railway Station and the major attractions of Zuerich can easily be reached within less than 20 minutes by direct tram.

Directions on how to get there:
By Public Transportation:
At the Railway Station, take Tram No. 6; Exit at "Zoo" (= last exit); at the intersection you will see the Hotel Zuerichberg to your left, approx. 200 meters on "Orellistrasse".

By Car:
- Coming from Bern, Basel or Chur: direction City Center; then direction Zoo; turn left at the intersection "Orellistrasse" before arriving at the Zoo.
- Coming from Zurich Airport: follow signs direction to the Zoo.
