Hotel la Perla, Lugano

The Hotel la Perla is a modern 4-star hotel with 96 rooms located in Agno, near the Lugano airport but in quiet location surrounded by a large park. From the Hotel la Perla it is 7 minutes driving to Lugano's city center and the railway station (or 10 minutes by local train) and 10 minutes walking distance to Lake Lugano. The hotel is ideally situated for business stays and vacations, and a perfect starting point for excursions in the region. The facilities at the Hotel la Perla include the restaurant "Il Derby" for international and local cuisine, with two dining rooms and a terrace accessing the park, a popular pub with occasional live music entertainment, a children's playground in the park, and several meeting and conference rooms.

Description of Double Standard Room:
All rooms at the Hotel la Perla have recently been renovated with elegant décor. Bathrooms have a bathtub including shower (some with shower only) and a hairdryer. All rooms have Cable- & Pay-TV, radio, direct dial-out phone, wireless Internet connection, mini-bar, safe and A/C. Most rooms have 2 twin-size beds (pushed together or separated) and some have 1 queen-size bed. Smoking / Non-smoking rooms are available upon request.

By Public Transportation:
From the Lugano railway station; take the local train "Lugano-Ponte Tresa", exit train in Agno; then take taxi to the Hotel la Perla (walking distance: approx. 10 minutes).

From the Lugano Airport: by foot (approx. 5 minutes walking distance)

By Car:
Take the Highway Exit "Lugano Nord"; follow the signs to "Lugano Airport, Ponte Tresa" which will get you directly to the Hotel la Perla; driving on "Via Lugano" and then turning into "Via Fausto Coppi". At the turn-about, the "Via Pestariso" with the Hotel la Perla is at your left after approx. 300 meters (1,000 ft) - look for the hotel sign.
