Hotel Elite, Zermatt

The Hotel Elite is a charming 3-star Hotel with 24 rooms in central, but quiet location in Zermatt within only 5 minutes walking distance to the railway station, near shopping, restaurants and all sports and entertainment facilities. The bus stop for transfers to the mountain rides accessing the ski-areas is located within 1 minute walking distance. The facilities at the Hotel Elite include the Breakfast Room, the Lounge, an Internet Café with 18 stations (including Web-Cams and Skype), and the "Country Bar" with Pool Tables and Dart Boards - the place in Zermatt where people meet for nightly entertainment, drinks and snacks. Further, the Hotel Elite offers shuttle services and features a new wellness area with Sauna, Bio-Sauna and special showers.

Description of Double Standard Room:
The rooms at the Hotel Elite are calm with simple furniture and décor. Some rooms have a balcony and mountain views. The bathroom has a bathtub including shower (some with shower only), and a hair-dryer is provided. All rooms feature Cable-TV, radio, direct dial-out phone, wireless LAN Internet access, mini-bar and a safe. All rooms are furnished with 2 Twin Beds (separated or pushed together).

Single Standard: smaller room for one person; with 1 Twin Bed and mountain-view

Single Superior: smaller room facing south for one person; with 1 Twin Bed; with view of the "Matterhorn"

Double Superior: south facing room with great views of the "Matterhorn"; some bathrooms with new "whirl"-bathtub

Family Accommodation: Double Room with Extra-Bed, or 2 Double Rooms with connecting doors available (accommodating up to 5 persons)

The Hotel Elite is a centrally located budget hotel offering a great price-value ratio. It includes an Internet Cafe and the Country Bar, a popular place in Zermatt for people to meet for drinks and entertainment.

Directions on how to get there:
By Public Transportation:
After arriving at the Zermatt Railway Station, call at the Hotel for Shuttle service at the information booth; or walk along Main Street to the right, and then to the left at the first intersection (Photo Shop); after approx. 200 meters after passing the "Migros" store, the Hotel Elite is to the right with the entrance behind the restaurant "Vieux Valais".

By Car:
Drive to Taesch, from where you need to take the train to Zermatt. Then follow the instructions above (public transportation).
