Hotel Bern, Berne
The Hotel Bern is a comfortable 4-star hotel centrally located in the historic Old Town of Berne, within 5 minutes walking distance to the railway station and in close proximity to major attractions such as the Clock Tower, the Parliament Building and the arcaded shopping streets. The hotel offers 95 recently renovated rooms and several salons for conferences and banquets for up to 300 people. The facilities of the Hotel Bern include two restaurants: the exclusive "Kurierstube" with 14 Gault-Millaut points serving international gourmet meals, and the "7-Stube" for traditional Swiss cuisine and seasonal specialties. Further amenities are the two terraces: the "Courtyard Terrace" to enjoy warm summer evenings and the "Boulevard Terrace" to observe the street life with a drink or snack. The hotel also offers wireless LAN Internet access and a public parking garage is nearby (special reduced charge).
Description of Double Standard Room:
All rooms at the Hotel Bern have been renovated and refurbished in a modern and elegant style; some rooms offer a view of the streets of Berne, others are facing the backyard. Most rooms have a bathroom equipped with a shower (some have a bathtub including shower), and a hair-dryer is provided. All rooms feature Cable-TV, direct dial-in/dial-out phone, highspeed and wireless LAN Internet access, coffee & tea making facilities and a safe. All rooms have 2 twin-size beds (separated or pushed together); smoking / non-smoking rooms are available on request.

Single Room: smaller room with "Grand-lit" bed (for one person).
Triple Room: = Double Room with extra bed.

Directions on how to get there:
By Public Transportation:
Upon arriving at the railway station in Berne, look for the Exit "Neuengasse", then walk straight then across to "Waisenhausplatz" and towards "Metro-Parking" and "Zeughausgasse". The Hotel Bern is on "Zeughausgasse" - approx. 100 meters to your right.
Or, you get tram Nr. 9 and exit at the "Zytglogge" (Clock Tower) stop, then walk on the left side of the street in the same direction as the tram for about 50 meters, and in front of the Restaurant "Kornhauskeller" walk to your left for approx. 50 meters where you will find the entrance of the Hotel Bern to your left.
You can also take a taxi from the railway station (at approx. CHF 15.00).
By Car:
Coming from any direction, exit the highway at either "Bern" Exit and follow the brown hotel signs to the city center "Sector Waisenhausplatz", then follow the brown hotel sign "Hotel Bern".
