The Hotel Belvedere in Wengen is a traditional 3-star hotel that was built in 1912 in "Art Nouveau"-style. It has generous common areas such as at the cozy lounge with the chimney or the bar and salon with various sitting areas and window tables. The Hotel Belvedere has 62 rooms with magnificent views of the mountains and the Lauterbrunnen Valley. It is located above the village of Wengen, approximately a 5-minute walk from the center, the Railway Station and the stations accessing the various ski-areas. The facilities of the Hotel Belvedere include the dining room, a lounge, a bar and salon, a large terrace with magnificent mountain- and valley-views, and the children's playroom (not supervised).

Description of Double Standard Room:
These rooms are facing north with view of the "Maennlichen" mountain; all rooms have recently been renovated and are furnished in classic style. The bathroom usually has a bathtub including shower (some with shower only) and a hair-dryer. All rooms are equipped with Cable-TV, radio, direct-dial phone and a safe. All the rooms have 2 twin-size beds (separated or pushed together); smoking / non-smoking rooms are available on request.

Single North: smaller room facing north; bathroom with shower only

Single South: smaller room facing south

Double South: facing south with spectacular views of the village, the Jungfrau Mountain and the Lauterbrunnen Valley

Triple Room: larger room with 3rd bed; facing north or south

Quadruple Room: larger room with bunk-bed; facing north or south; ideal for families with children

(approx. 15 minutes); upon arrival call the hotel from the hotel information board for free pick-up. If walking (approx. five minutes), walk to your left in front of the railway station along main street to the movie theatre where you will see a sign "Hotel Belvedere" - follow sign to your left and you will see the Hotel Belvedere after approx. 50 meters.

By Car:
Drive from Interlaken to Lauterbrunnen and park your car in the large Parking Garage at Lauterbrunnen Railway Station. Wengen is a car-free resort ! Therefore, take the train ("Wengeneralp-Bahn") to Wengen (approx. 15 minutes); upon arrival call the hotel from the hotel information board for free pick-up. If walking (approx. five minutes), walk to your left in front of the railway station along main street to the movie theatre where you will see a sign "Hotel Belvedere" - follow sign to your left and you will see the Hotel Bellvedere after approx. 50 meters.
